My tummy was grumbling this afternoon, so I wandered into the kitchen and began creating a yummy snack. I decided to make bliss balls, but I made them a little bit different this time. I took out my robot coupe (it's a bit like a food processor and blender all in one), and chucked in plenty of rolled oats, about a spoon full of coconut oil, lots of dried pitted dates (which I firstly soaked in hot water to soften them), cocoa powder (for a chocolaty flavour), cocoa nibs, shredded coconut, chia seeds, a heaped spoonful of peanut butter, and a sprinkle of love. I blended it all up, firstly blending the dry ingredients then adding in the dates and coconut oil to combine it all until thick. I rolled the mixture into bite sized balls (it made around 14), and popped them into a jar. Just one bite and I was in heaven. They tasted and were squishy and soft like brownies. I think these ones have the tick of approval from everyone else in the house. So I definitely recommend to try these out. I'm sorry that I don't have the full recipe with the right amounts, but just experiment with the ingredients to get the right consistency. Yummo!!
