Spiced Carob Protein Balls

WHAT YOU NEED:

-1 1/2 cups rolled oats -1 tbsp organic carob powder -1 cup roasted almonds -2 cups pitted dates -1/2 cup sunflower seeds -1 tsp ground turmeric -1 tsp ground cinnamon -2 tbsp chia seeds -1/2 cup spelt puffs. 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

1. Soak the dates in hot water for 5 minutes or more to soften them. 

2. Blend all of the dry ingredients together in a food processor (everything except for the dates).

3. Drain off the dates and add them to the food processor. Process until thick and mildly sticky.

4. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls with the palm of your hands.

5. Store in a sealed container in the fridge. Enjoy!
